I'm sure I'll see some of my fellow students next semester. Thanks to Mr. Tashbin for helping me this semester. And thanks to Dr. Strange for organizing this course.
I hope it will be even better organized next fall. The syllabus (and other parts of the course) still need lots of work. But I think we are moving in the right direction since we must move to a format where the major portions of instruction are delivered on the internet. The budget cuts are horrendous and as I wrote in a comment for Meghan Wallace's final reflective post "The luxury of small classes, direct instruction is doomed whatever we may think of it. EDM310 is an attempt to see how to make the best of it in a changed world. We have more to do, but if we do not succeed I fear that classes will become even more burp back lectures graded with multiple choice questions. And that would, in my opinion, be truly disastrous!"
